cheers to motherhood

it's been ages since my last post..i must say i somehow lost interest or should i just say i couldn't find enough words to describe how i was feeling for the past weeks..there was excitement and joy at the same time anxiety and exhaustion..all for the anticipation of my dear princess..i walked and walked so i would labor already but nothing happened..my OB advised me that if by June 12, i would not still give birth, i should have another ultrasound to check my baby's score..came June 13 there was still no signs of labor so we went to have the ultrasound..her score is still perfect but the only problem was the amniotic fluid is already slightly stained..when my OB saw the results, she advised us that the baby needs to come out through a C-section before any infection could affect her..i was initially shocked and tensed..i never dreamed of having an operation..aside from the fact that it's costly, it also entails longer healing period..it also meant longer waiting time for me to carry my little princess which was what i am mostly excited about..but then again we had to say "yes" for the sake of our baby..so that very day i was admitted at the hospital at 11:30 in the morning and was scheduled for a C-section at 1:30 in the afternoon..i had to relax my nerves then to keep the procedure shorter..i wasn't totally unconscious during the operation..to cut the long story short, the operation lasted for less than 2 hours i suppose..i heard my baby's first cry..it felt like heaven..she's 3.57 kg..my precious angel came out of me safe and sound..when i came out of the OR i was able to kiss her..they took me to my room and i had to stay still for 10 hours..it was probably the longest 10 hours of my life..after the waiting is over, the nurses asked me to move side to side so my intestines could move and i could fart..at least i farted early so i didn't endure the hunger longer..together with my baby i was discharged from the hospital morning of June 15..i think this has been a long post already..i have yet so many things to share..like the first time i changed her diaper, breastfed her, bathe her, changed her clothes..it felt like heaven..God must be holding my hands 'coz i didn't have a hard time learning them..i could not contain the joy in my heart..i am forever grateful to God for fulfilling in me the very essence of a woman..here are some pictures of my little angel..

blog=diary

for the past years, i have been blogging..i started this thing while i was in college..i think that was on my 4th year..it was kinda exciting 'coz it's like you have your own website, which was for me the coolest thing..as the hobby progressed, it became more interesting 'coz i've realized it can be a very good outlet for my suppressed emotions..whenever i was angry, frustrated, happy, ecstatic or just any other emotions that i felt i write it in my blog; my so called online journal..it was really fun..up until now, my blog is still active though some posts were gone.
blogging has really become a widespread thing for almost all people..next thing i knew, all my friends are blogging already which made me think, how did this blogging thing started? how did it evolved? just yesterday, i found this article in the web..somehow it gave me an idea on how it started..and it even featured my beloved blogger.com..amazingly, blogging became popular through politics..one thing that makes people craaaaaazzzzzyyyy..though it can be helpful to those who are running for a position in the government let the people know who they are, it can also be their way of manipulating the people..in anyway, having a blog is really fun and exciting..PLUS you can meet many interesting people..what a lovely consolation! businesses galore

it's been how many days since the last time i blogged..i've been busy creating ads for our townhouse-for-rent..i don't know what got into me but i've been thinking of what business to venture in..of course there's our newly-built townhouse in Xevera..i also asked my mom if i could buy two of her cousin's piglets then have them taken care of..i think it's a good start..i just hope and pray that God will bless these businesses..and i hope i am using the resources He has provided me the right way..this is one of our ways of preparing for our family's future..i would also love to have a mango farm, a goat farm as well as our own restaurant which has caldereta as its specialty..i pray that God will bless my heart's desires. 34 weeks and counting

i went to my OB yesterday to have my regular check up..it made me excited when she said that as early as the 24th of May my labor could start..my gosh! my Myles will arrive soon..i can't wait to hold her with my hands..anyways, after my check up, my hubby and i went to the mall to look for more stuffs for our baby..we were able to buy just the sterilizer for the milk bottles since there were no enough hands to help him carry stuffs..i should have obliged our helper to come with us so we could buy more..but i think she needed some rest 'coz she had so much to do in the morning.
another cool thing was my blog got approved for sponsored reviews..yhay! so i would need every support i can get..hoping to get yours. out of the office relief

for the past two days, i was out of the office..but i was not absent..i just had to attend this ISO 9001:2008 awareness training..being out of the office is kinda comfy..no office mates to deal with..i mean i don't get to see them..they seem kinda annoying..there is this big division in our own department..the technical and the software team..as for me, i belong to the software group..there's only two of us..and honestly, we don't like the technical team that much..they have their own world in such a way that they plan things on their own..they only invite us when there's no enough transportation..they don't even cooperate to some policies in the department..5S for example..at the end of the year, they expect to have a 5S reward when they don't even mop the floor when they use the comfort room..they don't even want to include their area for the audit..they don't even want to be audited in any of the audits available in the company..i'm really ranting..there are just things that they do that do not contribute to the department as a whole..instead it brings division..yeah whatever..
